PC Pros 2 Go Evaluation
When people think of antivirus one of the first names to pop up is Norton. Over the years Norton has provided pretty good antivirus protection. Unfortunately, that protection usually comes with a price from Norton. That price is the effect Norton Products has on your system. Typically, over the years Norton products have significantly impacted system resources and overall system performance, negatively.
Over the years though, Norton has been getting better with their resource management. But over other products Norton still uses a lot of resources. This year they've also added Antispyware protection into their antivirus software.
Overall, we feel Norton Antivirus 2008 provides very good virus protection. A little heavy on system resources and their antispyware does an adequate job of detecting spyware on the system.
